2 May 2003 - Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS), the leader in enterprise access management, has announced the expansion of its successful skills certification programme to include a new qualification, Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA), and the corresponding training course, CTX-6100.
The new qualification provides IT professionals with all of the skills and expertise necessary to take advantage of the growing demand for enterprise-wide Citrix deployments, both in the Benelux region and internationally. It offers advanced architectural training around the design, implementation and integration of enterprise-wide solutions using the Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite of products, and is focused on Citrix recommended best practices.
The CTX-6100 training course, Citrix Core Technologies and Architecture, provides the methodology and technical expertise required for analysis, design, build/test and roll out of Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite systems. The course is designed for technicians that are familiar with Citrix products, as well as Citrix partners and customers seeking to gain greater knowledge of the architectural components and communications within a Citrix environment.
The CCIA course is available now through Citrix Authorised Learning Centres (CALCs), which in the Netherlands includes UFS, CDG and Twice IT Training. The CCIA certification programme is offered in conjunction with current Citrix technical certifications, including the Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) and the Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA), rated one of the industry's hottest IT certifications by online training magazine, CertCities.com.
"With a growing interest in Citrix solutions at a strategic level, IT professionals working for and with our customers' organisations are naturally asking to have an even deeper knowledge of our technology and how it integrates with other enterprise systems," said Saskia de Ronde, manager channels, Citrix Systems Nederland. "The new CCIA programme provides a strong qualification for professionals looking to advance their enterprise IT skill set and expertise in Citrix solutions to develop highly sophisticated but manageable IT environments."
