Having spent five years at Navigation Technologies, the premier supplier of street-level navigable maps, Willem welcomes the opportunity to work with AND, the market leader in worldwide routable maps, address data and software components.
Stam brings valuable experience in licensing geographic data to various industries, such as fleet management, GIS, location-based services and Internet- and PC-based navigation and routing applications. Stam, a citizen of The Netherlands, grew up in Washington DC. After gaining an MBA from Delta University, he started his career as a marketing specialist with Sperry Marine Systems in Charlottesville, Virginia. Back in the Netherlands, he held marketing and product management positions at General Electric Plastics and Philips Lighting.
