TIE Kinetix (Euronext Amsterdam: TIE) and LeaseWeb International BV announce their agreement in principle on a strategic partnership subject to a confirmatory due diligence.The aim of the partnership is to allow the TIE Kinetix customers access to LeaseWeb’s on-demand high performance internet infrastructure services providing a feature rich and flexible portal environment. TIE Kinetix customers will be able to deploy their services across datacenters located throughout Europe, USA and Asia.
For TIE Kinetix, the strategic partnership with LeaseWeb secures access to best of breed, cloud independent and cost efficient internet infrastructure in a dynamically changing and very competitive market. The co-operation with LeaseWeb allows TIE Kinetix to focus on its core strategy – the successful delivery of a wide range of SaaS (Software as a Service) based solutions for Business-to-Business customers that help automate the exchange of data between companies.
This strategic partnership includes a multiyear hosting agreement, and includes the assignment to LeaseWeb of certain dedicated hosting customers that were acquired as part of the acquisition of TFT GmbH (currently TIE Germany GmbH). As a next step an Operations and Business Plan will be agreed. Financial close of this transaction is planned to be finalized before 31st of December 2015.
