Exchange Server 2010 would help CommVault customers take advantage of Exchange Server 2010 enhancements, which are designed to lower messaging and operational costs as well as increase productivity and collaboration, said a press release.

By announcing Simpana software support for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, CommVault is reinforcing our ongoing commitment to optimizing and enhancing Simpana software while providing our joint customers with a straightforward migration path to Exchange Server 2010.”
Simpana software reduces operational and administrative costs by providing a singular product platform with centralized management to safeguard Microsoft Exchange environments through rapid backup along with easy recovery of individual email, folders, mailboxes, as well as, entire Exchange
databases and systems. Additionally, Simpana Search simplifies content-level indexing along with searching of email messages and attachments to meet eDiscovery requirements.
