PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 20, 2007 – TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that is has completed the porting of TIBCO BusinessWorksTM, TIBCO iProcessTM Suite and TIBCO BusinessEventsTM to HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i. HP-UX is TIBCO’s preferred UNIX platform for its global customer base.
“Support for HP Integrity servers will allow us to provide greater flexibility and choice to existing and prospective customers,” said Sanjay Gupta, vice president, Global Alliances, TIBCO. “Together, our technologies are able to meet the high throughput and low-latency in demanding environments such as finance and telecommunications.”
An HP Integrity server running HP-UX 11i provides a high-performance platform for TIBCO’s world-class service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process management and complex event processing software. TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO iProcess Suite and TIBCO BusinessEvents running on HP-UX 11i are generally available for purchase. TIBCO plans to port its service virtualization platform for SOA - TIBCO ActiveMatrixTM - to HP Integrity servers later this year.
