De veiling start 1 december 2006, waarvan de opbrengsten van de verkochte pc's volledig naar UNICEF gaan.

Lenovo teams with Ronaldinho to Fundraise in aid of UNICEF on eBAY
14 Lenovo 3000 series laptops signed by the football legend will be auctioned off for charity on eBAY
Paris, FRANCE – 20th November 2006: Lenovo, the world’s third largest PC manufacturer, today announced that it is teaming up with football legend and FIFA Player of the Year for the second year running, Ronaldinho to auction 14 notebook PCs on online marketplace eBAY, raising money in aid of UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, registered charity 1072612.
The auction will begin on Friday 1st December 2006 and will last 10 days in the following 14 countries: UK, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Israel, Germany, Netherlands, Singapore, India, Thailand and Mexico. Further details of the auction will be announced closer to the time.
