Getronics Belgium has renewed and expanded several contracts for ICT services with the EU Institutions. The total contract value is more than EUR 17 million over a period of four years.
The contracts cover multiple year projects in Network & Desktop Outsourcing, Enterprise Content Management, and Application Integration & Management: three main domains within Getronics’ focused solutions portfolio.
Jean-Claude Vandenbosch, General Manager of Getronics Belgium, comments: "The EU Institutions have been a major client for more than 25 years. Such a long-standing relationship enables us to fully understand the client’s requirements. By continuously improving our operations and methodologies and by delivering an excellent service we were able to win these projects.”
About the EU Institutions
The EU involves five key institutions, namely the European Parliament, which represents the EU's citizens and is directly elected by them; the Council of the European Union, which represents the individual member states; and the European Commission, which seeks to uphold the interests of the Union as a whole. The Court of Justice upholds the rule of European law, and the Court of Auditors checks the financing of the Union's activities. A great deal of further information on the EU and its member states is available on the internet via europa.eu.int
