B2B Integration Software Company TIE Holding N.V. (“TIE”) listed on the EuroNext Amsterdam Stock Exchange hereby announces that its has successfully completed the implementation of the B2B Integration Project for the well known Dutch pharmaceutical wholesaler OPG (based in Utrecht). In accordance with the contract, all B2B integration projects will now be controlled and managed via one central platform. This will enable OPG to grow the number of eBusiness partners from 200 to 1000.
OPG Wholesales distributes pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. The main goal of OPG’s IT department is to reduce costs and offer OPG Wholesales and OPG Distrimed functionality and services in a more efficient way. This goal has led OPG Wholesales to implement one central ERP system, in conjunction with TIE eVision. As part of their standard offering, suppliers of ERP systems do not include functionality enabling both integration with internal system and external electronic communication. In filling this gap, TIE has proven to be a substantial cost saver, leading OPG to choose the TIE solution as did many other ERP users.

In due course, additional message types, including XML, will be added to our messaging process in order to further optimize our cost reduction strategy. The initial stage of the project has been completed with the integration of TIE eVision and the J. D.Edwards system used by OPG.
