JNPR) today announced the appointment of Kenneth A. Goldman, senior vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer of Siebel Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ: SEBL) to the board of directors. Mr. Goldman will be replacing C. Richard Kramlich, who has been a significant contributor to the board for more than 7 years, and will become chairman of the audit committee effective October 7, 2003. Mr. Goldman, 54, has served as Siebel Systems' senior vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer since August 2000. Prior to joining Siebel Systems, he held CFO positions at Excite@Home, Sybase, Cypress Semiconductor, and VLSI Technology. An MBA graduate of the Harvard Business School with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, he is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC). Mr. Goldman also presently serves on the board of directors at LEGATO Systems, Inc.
