Micromuse introduceert Netcool/Element Management Systems V5.3

Netcool/EMS is een flexibel, schaalbaar, en protocol-onafhankelijk element management framework, wat OEM’s en service providers een complete out-of-the-box FCAPS functionaliteit biedt. Netcool/EMS maakt het voor OEM’s mogelijk om elk aspect van het FCAPS framework uit te breiden om zodoende nadruk te leggen op de unieke aspecten die hun netwerkelementen differentiëren. De software kan ook feilloos ingezet worden in de bestaande management infrastructuur van de service providers, waardoor zij makkelijk nieuwe netwerkelementen in het netwerk kunnen integreren en tevens deze elementen kunnen beheren met de bestaande OSS applicaties.

Netcool/EMS omvat een configureerbaar en uitbreidbaar portfolio van beheeroplossingen en een veelomvattende set van service aspecten, zoals beveiliging en configureerbare data storage mechanismen.

Beschikbaarheid
Netcool/EMS is nu beschikbaar. Prijsinformatie, analyses, klantenreferenties en screenshot zijn verkrijgbaar op aanvraag. De software ondersteunt Sun Microsystems Solaris, Hewlett-Packard’s HP-UX, IBM AIX, Microsoft Windows XP en Linux.
