Speech Recognition Ware announces Transcription Aid for ScanSoft¹s Dragon NaturallySpeaking® Professional. The application will simplify transcription and editing work that follows any digital dictation. Transcription Aid (TDA) delivers an incredibly intuitive and easy-to-use interface for transcription and editing purposes, controlled with equal facility using a foot pedal, function keys, or mouse clicks, and is powered by Dragon NaturallySpeaking® - the most advanced speech recognition engine currently available. This leads to immediate and outstanding increases of productivity and comfort for secretarial work.
The transcriptionist will simply read the file made by Dragon NaturallySpeaking Professional within the TAD interface and, whenever an illogical word or phrase is spotted as a consequence of a false recognition, press the foot pedal or function key, or mouse click to hear the pronunciation of the person that dictated the document.
Moreover, the application accepts the sound input generated not only by anyone dictating into Dragon NaturallySpeaking® and saving the corresponding sound files in ".dra" format, but also any other sound ".wav" file generated with a digital recorder! PDAs will be also supported in a forthcoming version.
