Utrecht, 16 december 2002 Micromuse Inc. (NASDAQ: MUSE), toonaangevend leverancier van service en business assurance software, heeft bekendgemaakt dat Greg Brown op 31 december 2002 zijn functie van Chairman en CEO zal beëindigen. Tegelijkertijd heeft Motorola Inc. bekendgemaakt dat Greg Brown benoemd is tot Executive Vice President van Motorola Inc. en President en CEO van Motorola’s Communications, Government en Industrial Solutions Sector (CGISS). Greg Brown blijft lid van de raad van commissarissen van Micromuse. Senior Vice President en Chief Financial Officer van Micromuse, Mike Luetkemeyer, zal naast zijn CFO verantwoordelijkheden de rol van interim CEO vervullen vanaf 1 januari 2003.
Dave Schwab, lid van de raad van commissarissen van Micromuse sinds 1996 en General Partner bij Sierra Ventures zal de rol van non-executive voorzitter van de raad van bestuur vervullen vanaf 1 januari 2003.
Tevens heeft Micromuse bekendgemaakt dat het verwacht dit kwartaal, eindigend op 31 december 2002, volgens of boven het geplande resultaatniveau af te sluiten.
Mike Luetkemeyer is in oktober 2001 bij Micromuse in dienst getreden als Senior Vice President en CFO. Gedurende zijn loopbaan heeft hij verschillende senior finance posities bekleed, waaronder meer dan 10 jaar bij General Electric voor GE Aerospace, GE Semiconductor en GE Plastics. Daarna was hij CFO bij Aprisma Management Technologies.
