Oracle Cements Commitment to Next Generation of Enterprise Cloud
More cloud regions announced! In Oracle Cloud Infrastructure news, Oracle is delivering enhancements to security (bringing added layers of defence against cyber threats) and growing the footprint of its cloud regions.
Oracle will open additional regions in Australia, Canada, Europe, Japan, South Korea, India, Brazil, the Middle East, and the United States, including Virginia, Arizona, and Illinois to support public sector and Department of Defense customers. This expansion adds to the 30+ global locations and 300 plus sensors already in operation.

Using AI, Oracle Digital Assistant is a one-stop shop that can handle HR, Finance and CX requests, understand context and intent, and automate routine tasks like rescheduling meetings.

Oracle Unveils Business-Ready Blockchain Applications
Cutting through the blockchain hype,
Oracle has launched Oracle Blockchain Applications Cloud to better track, trace and verify throughout the supply chain. Seamlessly connecting Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, Oracle ERP Cloud and other Oracle Cloud apps, this blockchain product is one that will add serious value where it counts.
Oracle Cloud Delivers End-to-End Security for Customers
New core-to-edge services help secure customer data, improve threat detection and protect against DDoS and other specific forms of cyber attack. New cloud services include a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect against attacks on web traffic, Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection to stop outside parties from disrupting running applications, an integrated Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) which monitors and enforces secure configurations, and a Key Management Service (KMS) that allows customers to control the encryption of their data.
