Gebruikers van Tiscali en MTV Europe online hebben op woensdag 10 juli 2002 om 20.00 uur de unieke mogelijkheid om met de zanger te chatten. Er kan zowel op Tiscali's website www.tiscali.nl als op MTV Europe's website www.mtv.nl worden ingelogd.
Shoot The Dog is op dit moment alleen als televisie en online wereldprimeur te zien bij MTV Europe waar het publiek het nummer kan horen voordat het waar dan ook ter wereld via de radio wordt uitgezonden. De 1 uur durende webchat met George Michael vindt plaats op het hoofdkwartier van MTV Europe in Londen en is te volgen via de websites van MTV Europe. Daarnaast kunnen de gebruikers van Tiscali de videoclip streamen vanaf Tiscali's microsite.
'Shoot The Dog' is een hard statement van de zanger over het gebrek aan dialoog tussen de Britse regering en het Britse volk. Deze chat is de eerste mogelijkheid voor het publiek om met de ster over zijn meest recente werk te praten. Tiscali moedigt iedereen aan om vragen voor de chat via de microsite in te dienen.
De videoclip voor 'Shoot The Dog' is geheel uitgevoerd in 2D animatie met 2D karikaturen van George zelf en heeft een bezetting met o.a. Tony & Cherie Blair en George Bush. Verder laat de video scenes zien zoals George aan het "body poppen" met George W. Bush in de Oval Office, line-dancing met Tony Blair in cowboypak, vliegend in de ruimte op een raket van Saddam Hussein en strippend tot slechts zijn luipaard print G-string om in bed te springen met Cherie Blair.
Na bijna 20 jaar in de muziekindustrie kan George Michael terugkijken op een verkoop van meer dan 67 miljoen exemplaren wereldwijd. In die periode behaalde hij met zijn debuut album zes keer de eerste plaats op de Amerikaanse hitlijst, elf keer de eerste plaats in Engeland en hij was zes keer nummer een op de albumlijst.
