Het Red Hat Mobile Application platform wordt het wereldwijde referentieplatform voor exploitanten binnen de Telefonica Groep om de bedrijfsprocessen van klanten te mobiel toegankelijk te maken op weg naar hun digitale transformatie.
Het Red Hat Mobile Application Platform wordt sinds 2012 door Telefonica gebruikt in een aantal markten. Dit is een belangrijk onderdeel van Telefonica’s Group Enterprise Managed Mobility propositie, omdat het gebruikers een open, flexibele, en collaboratieve aanpak biedt voor het ontwikkelen, integreren en implementeren van mobiele toepassingen. Een collaboratieve aanpak van mobiliteit, mogelijk gemaakt door op open standaarden gebaseerde technologieën, zoals het Red Hat Mobile Application Platform, kan helpen om mobiele adoptie en volwassenheid te faciliteren, en tegelijk de kosten en time-to-market te verlagen.
