Aerohive Networks® (NYSE:HIVE), heeft de derde plek bemachtigd in Nederland als het gaat om het aantal wireless netwerkapparaten bij bedrijven met meer dan vijftig werknemers. 6,1 procent van de geïnventariseerde wifi-toepassingen is van Aerohive. Dat blijkt uit een analyse van
Computer Profile, gebaseerd op 4470 interviews die zijn gevoerd met IT-verantwoordelijke functionarissen van commerciële en publieke bedrijfsinstellingen. Hiermee laat Aerohive spelers als Aruba technologies (onlangs overgenomen door HP), Motorola en Juniper achter zich.
Opvallend is het feit dat Aerohive vier jaar geleden nog niet in de database van Computer Profile voorkwam. Dit gegeven kenmerkt de groeispurt die Aerohive de afgelopen vier jaar in Nederland heeft gemaakt en laat zien dat Aerohive de snelst groeiende wifi-fabrikant ter wereld is: Aerohive groeide maar liefst zes keer zo snel als de wireless sector.
