Amsterdam, 2 maart 2015 – Good Technology™, leider in mobiele beveiliging, presenteert de belangrijkste resultaten uit het Good
Mobility Index Report over het vierde kwartaal van 2014. Hieruit blijkt dat organisaties hun content en apps steeds vaker op een mobiel device gebruiken. Daarnaast komt uit het onderzoek naar voren dat bedrijven de digitale weerbaarheid verbeteren, doordat zij in het vierde kwartaal 65 procent meer beveiligde mobiele apps hebben geactiveerd. In 2014 is het aantal beveiligde mobiele apps met 300 procent toegenomen.
Andere opvallende resultaten uit het onderzoek zijn:
- Beveiligde browser-activeringen zijn ieder kwartaal bijna verdrievoudigd en jaarlijks vertienvoudigd. Beveiligde instant messaging-activeringen zijn met 900 procent gegroeid in 2014
- Custom apps-activeringen zijn opnieuw gegroeid met ruim een kwart (26%) en jaarlijks verviervoudigd
- Gebruikers zetten steeds vaker tools in voor toegang tot documenten en om documenten aan te passen
- iOS-activeringen zijn met 73 procent gestegen en hebben aandeel gewonnen ten opzichte van Android. De iPhone 6 en iPhone 6 Plus hebben hier mede voor gezorgd. Daarnaast is Samsung het meest geactiveerde Android device.
