Polvo is a company that manages the ICT, logistics, administration and procurement for all locations of the hardware stores
Leys, Holtgrefe, vdStad, Lekkerkerker, Kruyt, vd Ham, Dubson,
Kobam and De Schakel in the Netherlands. Polvo chose to work with Sana Commerce because of the integration with their Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP software). Both Sana and HSO have extensive experience with wholesale distribution for hardware dealers and e-commerce solutions.
“We were looking for a webshop which creates the same ease of use for our clients whether they buy online or offline. This requires an environment where clients can see their own prices, purchase history and right amount of stock at one glance. The standard integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX, the e-commerce solution of Sana was the perfect fit for Polvo.” says Jeroen Vermeer, CFO of Polvo.
Polvo was also attracted by the roadmap Sana provided. “The investment in an e-commerce platform should be leveraged over multiple years” says Jeroen Vermeer. “Sana convinced us by sharing their vision on the future of the application.” Sana will continue its strong focus on minimising the cost for a B2B web shop by installing Sana Commerce integrated with an ERP system, using the ERP system as a single point of maintenance and re-using the ERP data in the most efficient way.
