RICOH IMAGING EUROPE S.A.S. is pleased to announce the launch of the newest member of the Marine 7x50 family, the Marine 7x50 Hydro without compass in Atlantic Grey. The new model is a multi-talent suitable for maritime applications as well as general nature observation where a wilder field of view is required. The solid, waterproof, nitrogen-purged, magnesium alloy housing, ensures that the Marine 7x50 is another addition to the rough and tough product lineup differentiating PENTAX products from the rest of the competition.
Main Features:
- Bright and contrast-rich viewing All lenses are fully multi-coated to enhance and maximize light transmission. Also, the high-refraction BaK4 prisms with phase-correction coatings serve to provide a crisp and bright image. Furthermore, the 50 mm lenses “catch” a lot of light to enhance details and viewing pleasure even under low light conditions.
- Sturdy, lightweight design Due to the magnesium alloy housing, the Marine 7x50 weighs in at only 922 grams, making it easy to carry and assuring optimum viewing comfort for all types of outdoor activities.
- Waterproof construction for easy rinsing The Marine 7x50 is designed to be used under even the most extreme weather conditions. Due to the dependable waterproof construction* (equivalent to JIS Class 6 standards for watertight designs submersible to a depth of one meter), the DCF Marine 7x50 can be easily rinsed clean with water after use. The nitrogen-filled design prevents interior lens surfaces from fogging caused by temperature differences.
- Full-body rubber coating The “Atlantic Grey” foam rubber coating of the Marine 7x50 provides excellent grip and holding comfort. The foam rubber coating also enhances durability under any harsh, outdoor conditions.
- Long eye relief for fatigue-free viewing
The 17.6mm long eye relief (the distance between the eyepiece and the viewer’s eye), with 3-click stops assures comfortable, fatigue-free viewing in extended observations, even for eyeglass wearers,
