Retailers met snelle en efficiënte websites behouden klanten tijdens feestdagen

Het is belangrijk dat retailers klaar zijn voor de enorme toename van bezoekersaantallen rondom de feestdagen. Van de respondenten geeft 61 procent aan een negatief beeld te krijgen van een organisatie wanneer de website traag is of niet goed werkt. Verder vindt 69 procent het niet prettig om betalingen te doen op een website die langzaam is of problemen heeft met het laden van pagina’s.

“Retailers kunnen voor onaangename verrassingen komen te staan door een groeiend aantal bezoekers op hun website tijdens de feestdagen”, zegt Carel Bak, Regional Director Benelux bij Riverbed. “Het is voor hen een uitdaging om klanten een goede website performance te bieden. Retailers moeten inspelen op de klantvraag en zorgen dat hun website snel, betrouwbaar en veilig is. Het maakt hierbij niet uit hoe dynamisch of verschillend hun klantactiviteiten zijn.”
