Riverbed Technology (NASDAQ: RVBD), the performance company, announced today that the Riverbed® Stingray™ product family has been positioned by Gartner in the Visionary quadrant of the 2012 “Magic Quadrant for Application Delivery Controllers (ADC)” report authored by Joe Skorupa, Neil Rickard, and Bjarne Munch and published October 30, 2012. According to the report, “The application delivery controller has evolved into a key component of the data center architecture, and enterprises should evaluate ADCs based on how they integrate with this architecture and support more-advanced features, such as user and traffic control and monitoring.”
