AMSTERDAM, 24th September 2012 - EvoSwitch, a leading provider of sustainable, innovative carrier-neutral data centres, today announced its sponsorship of the RIPE 65 Meeting, a five-day event bringing together Internet Service Providers and network operators from Europe and around the world to discuss policy, procedures and challenges facing the functioning of the Internet.
Representatives of 250+ global networks, many of whom are EvoSwitch customers, are gathering to discuss network issues, security and internet policy. The event is taking place in Amsterdam, at the Okura Hotel from 24th to 28th September 2012.

EvoSwitch will take advantage of the RIPE 65 meeting to announce its IXroom, a dedicated suite inside its data centres where Internet-facing customers can interconnect to AMS-IX or privately. The aim of IXroom is to lower the threshold for networks to interconnect, and act as a hub for connectivity inside the data centre. IXroom will first launch in its Amsterdam data centre.
