Amsterdam, 13 maart 2012 - Vanaf vandaag kunnen UPC-klanten met een abonnement op Digitale TV ook kijken naar films van Sony Pictures Television via UPC On Demand. Het aanbod bij de grootste Video On Demand aanbieder van Nederland wordt zo verder uitgebreid met de nieuwste films en klassiekers van deze grote Hollywoodstudio. Bekende titels zoals De Avonturen van Kuifje, Moneyball en Straw Dogs zijn thuis eenvoudig met de UPC afstandsbediening te bestellen.

Steeds meer klanten weten UPC On Demand te vinden. In 2011 maakte 75% van de UPC-klanten gebruik van UPC On Demand en bekeken zij meer dan 60 miljoen programma’s en films.
UPC On Demand heeft een uitgebreid filmaanbod van blockbusters to klassiekers en steeds meer films die een specifiek publiek aanspreken. UPC biedt als enige aanbieder exclusief films aan van de filmfestivals zij sponsort, waaronder het IFFR (Internationaal Film Festival Rotterdam), NFF (Nederlands Film Festival), CineKid en de Amsterdam Film Week.
