NETGEAR presenteert vandaag de NETGEAR ProSafe Wireless-N 8-port Gigabit VPN Firewall (FVS318N). Een alles-in-één router, draadloos-N access point, gigabit switch en SSL VPN firewall voor minder dan 140 euro.
De FVS318N is een betrouwbare, betaalbare en eenvoudig te gebruiken oplossing voor het MKB. Deze alleskunner biedt connectiviteitsoplossingen die tot voor kort tenminste twee keer zo duur waren. Het instellen van Virtual Private Networks (VPN’s) is mogelijk dankzij een uitgebreide interface waarmee toegang op afstand simpel te configureren is.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN’s maken het mogelijk om op afstand beveiligde verbindingen via een browser op te zetten. Het is dus niet meer nodig om nieuwe VPN client software te kopen en te installeren.

Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) VPN’s verbinden de FVS318N met firewalls van andere fabrikanten op andere locaties. Bedrijven kunnen ook NETGEAR VPN software aanschaffen om de FVS318N aan individuele gebruikers aan te bieden.
Volledige LAN-toegang is mogelijk door gebruik te maken van een draadloze-N WiFi verbinding en acht gigabit Ethernetpoorten. Een simpele browserinterface met behulpzame installatiewizards bespaart tijd en voorkomt complexe instellingen als er verbindingen moeten worden opgezet met Internet Service Providers of VPN’s. Zoals alle NETGEAR ProSafe firewalls heeft de FVS318N een stalen behuizing en wordt deze geleverd met levenslange garantie.

Prijs en beschikbaarheid
De NETGEAR ProSafe Wireless-N 8-port Gigabit VPN Firewall (FVS318N) is vanaf nu beschikbaar en heeft een consumentenadviesprijs van 135 euro.
