Zaltbommel, 5 September 2011 - Ad van Geloven B.V is a developer and manufacturer of A-brand and private label frozen snacks and meal components for the European retail and wholesale sectors. Some of Ad van Geloven's brands are Mora, van Lieshout Snacks, Welton Snacks and Hebro. To allow the four manufacturing and sales locations in the Netherlands and Belgium to optimally serve their markets, the board wants to create maximum synergy. The entire process will therefore be centralised with the Qurius industry solution Q-Food based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. The project comprises over 100 users and has an expected duration of approximately one year.
Optimal synergy
By deploying an integrated business information solution, Ad van Geloven wants to make his business processes more efficient and more centralised. In addition, the organisation wishes to further integrate the various production and sales locations, centralise key activities and processes, including purchasing and quality control, to achieve more scale advantage and simplify data management. These far-reaching activities will reduce the number of administrative operations and variety of activities and thereby drastically reduce the error risk in the business processes, all this, of course, within the strict regulations of the food sector.
