Amsterdam, the Netherlands, July 28, 2011 – NetDialog, the Dutch market leader in Application Performance & Delivery, today announced their new partner program for managed Application-Aware Network Performance Monitoring services (AANPM).
AANPM (closely monitored by technology research analysts such as Forrester, Gartner and IDC) is a relatively new concept designed to address a relatively new challenge in the IT Decision Support World: how to manage the performance of and ensure the availability of applications (IT services) delivered to the business that are composed of multiple in-house and outsourced IT Services. With this relatively new software service, the partners of NetDialog address the issue of how to manage the performance and availability of these IT services.
By providing end-to-end visibility into application performance over the Wide Area Network (WAN), from request to delivery, partners of NetDialog can help enterprises to optimize their network resources and increase return on investment. AANPM complements the visibility derived from Cisco routers (NetFlow, NBAR, NAM) & WAN optimization technologies such as BlueCoat PacketShaper and Proxy, Cisco WAAS and Riverbed Steelheads, and enables enterprises to define and manage service level agreements on a per application basis. The ability to monitor performance across the WAN enables administrators to establish efficient and effective business processes across the distributed enterprise. Companies can measure application performance and ensure corporate goals are met.
“As the network has become critical to business success, the need to understand what is on the network is imperative. “Service providers and system integrators are partnering with NetDialog to offer a managed service which provides the capability to manage application performance goals, and provides enterprises with a powerful tool for ensuring the efficiency of their business processes.”
“Increasingly, enterprises are looking to align business goals with their IT infrastructure, and that is impossible to do without understanding the end user experience,” said Patrick Jonker, VP Sales & Marketing with NetDialog. “Our NetX AANPM software provides visibility into both the end user experience and the applications on the network, enabling enterprises to make the right IT decisions”.
