Vianen, 16 mei 2011 – Citrix introduceert AppFlow, een innovatieve nieuwe open standaard technologie die diepgaande informatie verschaft over kritische zakelijke applicaties binnen zowel publieke als private cloud-omgevingen. De overgang van het “PC-tijdperk” naar het “cloud-tijdperk” betekent dat traditionele bedrijfsapplicaties tegenwoordig worden aangevuld met nieuwe cloud- en SaaS-applicaties. Deze overgang vereist een nieuwe benadering van business intelligence waarmee CIO’s toegang hebben tot real time data van uiteenlopende traditionele en ‘next-generation’ cloud applicaties.
De technologie van AppFlow maakt het voor IT-organisaties makkelijker om problemen met applicaties op te lossen, zonder vele netwerk taps of software te installeren op iedere server of hardware voor specifieke monitoring van de applicaties.
Citrix heeft AppFlow gelanceerd als open standaard om brede acceptatie bij netwerk, infrastructuur en business intelligence vendors te realiseren. AppFlow wordt ondersteund door de nieuwe AppFlow community met actieve participatie van klanten, vendors en industrie specialisten. De community is actief op www.appflow.org, waar best practices, nieuwe AppFlow-tools en handleidingen te vinden zijn.
Citrix NetScaler is de eerste oplossing uit het Citrix portfolio die met AppFlow-technologie gaat werken.
