8 February 2011. Bury. UK. Qurius UK has announced that it has signed an agreement with Palm Recycling to deliver its Enwis (formerly known as Regenerist) business management software solution. Enwis is based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP solution, specifically designed for the waste and recycling industry, and now very much established as the leading solution for paper recyclers.
Palm Recycling Limited is a UK based paper recovery specialist and a subsidiary of Palm Paper, a paper mill based in King's Lynn, Norfolk. The company provides a wide range of services for the UK market, including kerbside collections, bring bank solutions, commercial collections and the purchase of a variety recovered materials. After many years operating as sales office for paper products in the UK Palm Paper took the decision to install a new paper machine for newsprint in King's Lynn. This represents the first major UK investment in the paper industry in the last decade. Palm Paper has further supplemented this by establishing Palm Recycling Ltd in order to provide for a direct channel to feed materials to the King's Lynn facility.
Ron Humphreys at Palm Recycling Ltd, comments, "Having made a major investment in new machinery at our paper mill in King's Lynn, it is essential that we maximise its usage through increased collection of materials. To support this increase in throughput, we needed to significantly enhance our computer systems to enable greater visibility, integration and control of the business.
