Nijmegen, 5 January, 2011. Simultaneously with the official Intel launch offers, ttec is now offering its customers IT solutions with the new Intel processor architecture, codename Sandy Bridge. This new technology achieves considerable gains in performance for multimedia, image and video processing, and reduces power usage. Initially the new technology will be offered in Small Form Factor PCs, and also mini and midi PCs. It is planned to extend the Sandy Bridge range to workstations and servers in the first half of 2011. The office PCs can be individually configured and can be ordered from ttec with immediate effect.
ttec's solution experts estimate that it is primarily companies, government bodies and research institutes that will most benefit from the new Intel processor architecture, as sophisticated graphic applications play a central role in these types of organisation. In addition to the technology used for presentations in conference facilities or showrooms, these applications also include video editing workstations, image processing and multimedia computer-based training. The new PCs have a multitude of possible interfaces, making them suitable for a wide range of implementations.
