Nijmegen, 22 October 2009. All transtec PCs, notebooks and workstations are now available with Windows 7. The new Microsoft operating system offers enhanced security features and is easy to administer. For example, 90 percent of all current hardware drivers are integrated. ttec Computers is running its hardware discount campaign to coincide with the launch of the new operating system. Between next Monday and 6 December, customers can benefit from discounts on various hardware products.
If customers want to use the Windows 7 operating system, ttec is happy to advise on hardware implementation and adaptation. The ttec discount campaign will also make the switch a cheaper one. If customers buy new transtec PCs between 2 and 8 November for example, they will enjoy a discount of five percent. When the campaign starts on 26 October, ttec will be offering six percent discount on all monitors until 1 November.
As Marc van Schijndel, Country Manager Netherlands at ttec Computers, says, “ttec sees itself as having a duty to supply mid-sized companies and institutions with IT solutions which allow them to operate productively. Which is why we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the new Windows 7 system. This reduces to a minimum typical problems like driver conflicts which greatly hamper everyday operating processes. If customers already have appropriate hardware, we would advise them to upgrade to the new operating system. Our experts are on hand to help companies smoothly make the transition.”
On request customers can have the new Windows 7 operating system installed on all transtec SENYO PCs, transtec LEVIO notebooks and transtec workstations before delivery. The operating system is highly compatible with Windows Vista and Windows XP. It can be run in Windows XP mode which then allows users to continue using all Windows XP applications and other older programs.
