Schiphol-Rijk, 3 augustus 2009 - Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) kondigt vandaag aan dat Unisys België, als onderdeel van het b-Trust consortium, een raamcontract heeft binnengehaald bij de Europese Commissie. Het consortium zal managed services aan de Commissie leveren.
Andere leden van het b-Trust consortium zijn Bull SAS en Tata Consulting Services Luxembourg SA. Het contract geldt voor een periode van vier jaar en kan drie keer worden verlengd, iedere keer met een periode van één jaar. De totale waarde van het raamcontract bedraagt maximaal 91 miljoen euro voor de hele duur van het contract.
Unisys en de andere leden van het consortium leveren een reeks diensten zoals application monitoring voor missiekritische informatiesystemen van de Directoraten Generaal van de Europese Commissie. Daarnaast zullen zij ook instaan voor het beheer en de ondersteuning van applicaties en onderliggende software, en algemene servicedesk- en besturingsdiensten verzorgen. Het consortium zal de diensten voornamelijk vanuit Luxemburg leveren.
