Delft, January 14, 2008 – In response to recent rumors in the market, Exact Holding N.V. (the Company) announces that, as a publicly listed company on Euronext Amsterdam, the Board of Directors (Board) of the Company, assisted by its advisors, conducts regular and frequent reviews of all its strategic options. Such reviews involve discussions with various parties and are conducted by the Board in the interest of the Company and all its stakeholders.
In this respect, the Board confirms that discussions are currently scheduled with a limited number of investment firms. There is no certainty, however, that discussions with such firms, or any other person, will lead to a transaction involving all, or part of the Company's outstanding shares.
Given the preliminary nature of these scheduled discussions, the Company currently does not provide further information in relation to this matter. Further announcements, if any, will be made if and when appropriate.
