‘s Hertogenbosch, 18 december 2007 – Siemens PLM Software, een divisie van Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) en aanbieder van software en diensten voor product lifecycle management (PLM), implementeert zijn Teamcenter®-software bij Sandvik Group, een wereldwijde high-tech organisatie in de maakindustrie. Sandvik zet Teamcenter wereldwijd in als zijn product lifecycle management (PLM)-platform en gebruikt de oplossing op de afdelingen Sandvik Mining and Construction en Sandvik Tooling.
Teamcenter, de digitale lifecycle management-oplossing van Siemens PLM Software is wereldwijd het meest gebruikte PLM-portfolio. Het gaat een belangrijke rol vervullen in de bedrijfsstrategie van Sandvik om een wereldwijd platform op te bouwen dat alle engineering-gegevens binnen één enkel systeem beheert. Het voorziet in verbeterde productontwikkelingscapaciteit en verhoogt de innovatiesnelheid.
