SCOTTS VALLEY, USA, 18 september 2007 – CodeGear, ontwikkelaar van software ontwikkelingstools, introduceert op de RailsConf in Berlijn zijn nieuwe IDE voor Ruby on Rails (RoR), genaamd CodeGear 3rdRail. Het programma is een open-source framework dat geschreven is in de Ruby programmeertaal.

Als oplossing hiervoor heeft CodeGear eigenschappen in 3rdRail opgenomen die het onervaren én ervaren Rails ontwikkelaars makkelijker en sneller moeten maken om databasegedreven webapplicaties te bouwen.
