Christiansen will drive the strategic development of marketing activities worldwide from the company's North American headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts.

Christiansen has more than 20 years experience setting strategies, driving global presence, launching marketing programmes, and building worldwide sales channels in the security and networking industries. Prior to joining Sophos, he served as senior director of American marketing at Trend Micro and held key marketing roles at Intel and Novell.
