Hilversum, 3 juli 2007 – Met de introductie van de nieuwe release van de UNIVERGE SV7000 (Release 22), biedt NEC meer flexibiliteit en beveiliging met de high-end IP-communicatieserver.
UNIVERGE SV7000 is NEC’s schaalbare en beveiligde platform dat de grootzakelijke markt in staat stelt communicatiestrategieën te implementeren die de efficiency verbeteren, de kosten verlagen, klanttevredenheid vergroten en omzet genereren. De server, die door NEC Philips Unified Solutions in EMEA geleverd wordt, kan volledig gedistribueerd worden in Wide Area Networks en ondersteunt een reeks toestellen en applicaties voor zowel vaste als draadloze communicatie, inclusief Microsoft OCS en NEC’s Virtual PC Center thin client oplossing.
Door de stijging van het aantal beveiligingsproblemen en de geavanceerdheid hiervan, is het beschermen van informatie voor de meeste organisaties continu een punt van aandacht. Met Release 22 heeft NEC de UNIVERGE SV7000 voorzien van significante verbeteringen. Hierdoor worden de risico’s op incidenten die de bedrijfsvoering nadelig beïnvloeden geminimaliseerd.
Met de introductie van Release 22, ondersteunt de SV7000 nu ook NEC’s nieuwe derde generatie wireless LAN oplossing, UNIVERGE Assured Mobility. Hierdoor wordt verdere flexibiliteit toegevoegd aan een bedrijfsnetwerk dat moet voldoen aan de strenge eisen van de communicatiebehoeften.
Release 22 is per heden beschikbaar op de Nederlandse markt.
