Michael Blechar publiceerde op 8 juni 2007 het onderzoeksrapport 'Gartner, Inc. Business Process Analysis Tools Market Magic Quadrant 2H07-1H08'. Dit Magic Quadrant-rapport behandelt dertien verschillende Business Process Analysis-leveranciers en hun aanbod. Blechar stelt hierin dat BPA-tools een belangrijke rol spelen bij de verbetering van bedrijfsprocessen en BPM-initiatieven. In het rapport vermeldt Blechar: "De toenemende vraag naar BPM-modelleertools zal resulteren in een jaarlijkse marktgroei van minstens tien procent."

IDS Scheer, the leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), today announced that it has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of the Gartner Inc. Business Process Analysis Tools Market Magic Quadrant. Published on June 8, 2007 by Michael Blechar, the research note, Magic Quadrant for Business Process Analysis Tools Market, 2H07-1H08, analyzes 13 business process analysis (BPA) vendors and their respective offerings. In the report, Gartner states that BPA tools are a key component of business process improvement and business process management initiatives, and "expanding demand for business process modeling tools will result in at least a 10 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in market revenue through 2010."
