On the back of growing demand for its enterprise management reporting solution, QuickStart for SAP R/3, and a number of successful customer engagements within their home market (Benelux), NewFrontiers is making a major investment to expand its operations globally.
Nieuwegein, The Netherlands, April 26th, 2007 – NewFrontiers, a specialist provider of BI solutions for SAP and Siebel, today announced three significant Senior Executive appointments to help manage its business expansion internationally and open the operating subsidiary NewFrontiers Europe Limited, to handle product distribution in the UK, Eire, South Africa and Middle East.
David Richmond joins NewFrontiers as VP International Operations. David has over 35 years in the software industry and has founded three companies and sold them all successfully. David founded Striva Corporation in 1998, which was sold to Informatica Corporation (NASDAQ: INFA) in 2003 for $62m. David was Chairman and CEO of Striva. In five years Striva became the world leader in database access and integration across multiple software and hardware platforms, acquiring the EDP product line from BMC in 2002. David's previous software start ups were Adrem Systems Plc and Enhanced Software Products, Inc. More recently David has also been Executive Chairman of TouchClarity Ltd, recently acquired by Omniture, Inc (NASDAQ: OMTR) and CEO of Red-M Ltd,
Dave Berry joins NewFrontiers as VP International Business Development. Dave has over 25 years experience in the software industry, having worked with blue chip organisations and software start ups. His recent roles have seen him build multiple sales channels and have included extensive European operational management. He has worked for IBM, BMC Software, Evolutionary Technologies, Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects), Striva and most recently Informatica (which acquired Striva). He has held the role of Vice President EMEA for the last four organisations.
Tim Daniels joins NewFrontiers as VP International Sales and Marketing. Tim has over 23 years in the IT industry, the majority of time spent working for software start ups principally focused in the Enterprise Software market space. He has held numerous senior positions in management and sales across EMEA for a number of companies including BMC Software, Evolutionary Technologies, Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects), Sand Technology and most recently Informatica, where he was UK Managing Director.

About QuickStart for SAP R/3
QuickStart for SAP R/3 was first released in June 2006 and is based on standard Oracle technology, following a joint development project between both companies to enhance connectivity to SAP R/3. It combines the use of Database 10g, Fusion Middleware (OWB) and Oracle BI with the QuickStart pre-packaged business content supporting all of the major SAP Business modules. The content has been developed during eight years experience of implementing BI solutions for SAP customers. The solution is further enhanced with the support of IBM P Series hardware, enabling it to be sold as a plug and play appliance. QuickStart provides significant savings in both time and cost when compared to other alternative solutions for enterprise management reporting from SAP, from initial deployment through to follow on phases of the project, as the solution is based on open standards and does not need skilled SAP developers.
