FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Dec. 12, 2006 — Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS) today announced that Citrix Access Gateway™ in the Forrester Wave™ SSL VPN Appliances report for the fourth quarter 2006 (December 2006). Forrester Research placed Citrix Access Gateway solidly in the Leader category, giving the highest score for Citrix’s strengths in reliability, performance, monitoring and reporting, as well as revenue growth and channel partner depth.
Forrester provides an overview of the evolution of the SSL VPN market, from a onetime means to provide e-mail to remote workers to today’s sophisticated access method to applications for traveling employees, partners, suppliers and vendors. SSL VPNs offer a valuable remote access alternative to protect against natural and man-made workforce disruptions.
Forrester evaluated Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition across 57 criteria and against 7 other SSL VPN vendors.
