Almere, September 12, 2005 - Hopling Technologies, a global leader in wireless networking equipment for enterprises, operators and service providers, announced today that Harmen Ettema has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. Harmen Ettema’s appointment follows a streamlining of the management board in March 2005, in which Frank Koopman assumed direct supervision of the financial & administration departments.
Harmen’s career is focused on finance and strategy for fast growing organizations and included high level responsibility for both operational financial management and control. He has been responsible for significant activities in stakeholder relations, both in the IPO and financing context, numerous mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Harmen previously served as managing partner of Publicis Dialog, a worldwide direct marketing agency. Prior of joining Publicis Dialog, Harmen was named partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he had a managing responsibility for Analytical Intelligence Services (AIS), a specialised unit of econometricians and mathematicians. Earlier in his career Harmen served as manager of KPMG Audit and KPMG Consulting in Amsterdam. He gained a broad range of experience in both financial auditing and management, as well as in commercial strategy and marketing-communication.
In his educational background Harmen combines his master degrees in Econometrics and Management Information Science with his education as a Certified Public Auditor conducted at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.
