Schiphol-Rijk, 16 augustus 2005 - Microsoft announced today that Celestica, Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX) and Wistron will produce the Xbox 360(tm) video game and entertainment system. Microsoft's highly anticipated next-generation platform remains on track for a global launch this holiday season in North America, Europe and Japan.

Flextronics and Wistron are existing partners from the first iteration of Xbox, while the partnership between Celestica and Microsoft is newly formed. All three plants are located in the Pearl River Delta region in Southern China.
Xbox 360
Xbox 360 is the most powerful video game and entertainment system, delivering the best games, the next generation of the premier Xbox Live online gaming service, and unique digital entertainment experiences that revolve around you. The system will launch this holiday season in North America, Europe and Japan, to be followed by availability in Australia, Colombia, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan in 2006.
