This April, WSI announced the creation of an IC Leadership Advisory Council to create additional value for their worldwide network of Internet Consultants (ICs). This new initiative recognizes the desire of WSI’s Home Office to enhance all network members understanding of the various needs and opportunities of WSI Internet Consultants globally. Its principle objective is to enhance communication within the network so as to improve the allocation of resources to better meet the needs of the system and enable even greater growth and success.
Tim Pellens has been nominated to be the Council representative for Europe. He operates a local WSI Internet Consulting and Education office in Naarden, The Netherlands and was nominated by his Internet Consultant peers for his excellence as both an Internet Consultant and his/her support of fellow ICs in the WSI network. “I am so very pleased to have the opportunity to work towards strengthening the ability of the entire WSI network of ICs the world over. This is an initiative that is sure to help ICs provide our clients with even greater value for their investment and I am privileged to have this honor” proclaimed Tim Pellens.
WSI President Ron McArthur recently shared his enthusiasm about this new initiative with the WSI network, “I am sincerely pleased at the tremendous response this new initiative has garnered from the IC community throughout the nomination process and in the feedback we continue to receive. And, I am excited to begin working with the 12 outstanding ICs that make up this Council – I have no doubt that this collaborative effort will reap incredible results for the entire network.”
The structure of the Council has been established to facilitate the flow of information and innovation, in both directions, between WSI Home Office and WSI Internet Consultants. Meetings of the Council will function as forums for presenting and discussing matters that concern the entire network and enable the open sharing of information and development of ways to promote communication, improve relationships, and facilitate cooperation on marketing and advertising, operations, training and product introduction, selection and development. It is the role of the Council to evaluate recommendations and innovations from around the world and use this input to contribute to exploiting new opportunities and increasing our ability to being the number one provider of Internet Solutions serving small and medium business customers.
WSI has a global reach with local presence and as such the Council will help WSI Home Office gain more insights on regional market needs, proactively any anticipate issues our local Consultants may have in operating their businesses and act in an advisory capacity in the rollout of new initiatives, thereby improving the effectiveness of the network as a whole.
