Vanaf vandaag is BT in Nederland een gecertificeerd Gold Partner van Cisco Systems. Bijzonder is dat BT zich binnen dit programma heeft gespecialiseerd in IP Communicatie, Routing & Switching en Wireless LAN. Hierdoor kan BT zijn klanten volledige convergentie bieden door het LAN en het WAN te integreren; voice, data en video-applicaties worden hierbij beheerd in een consistent IP-netwerk. "Deze certificering onderstreept de kennis van het huidige team en de ontwikkeling die we doormaken", zegt Michel De Coster, country manager BT Benelux. "Het laat zien dat we meer in huis hebben dan alleen een sterk netwerk."

BT ACHIEVES CISCO GOLD CERTIFICATION IN THE BENELUX
BT announced today it has achieved Gold Certification from Cisco Systems both in the Netherlands and in Belgium + Luxemburg. Cisco's Gold Certified Partner designation offers one of the highest levels of credibility in the marketplace. Many governments and large corporations require Cisco Gold Certification as part of their Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
The Cisco Gold Partner program delivers BT Benelux state-of-the-art technical and sales expertise on the latest Cisco technologies. In addition, BT is also specialized in three specific Cisco networking technologies: IP Communications, Routing and Switching and Wireless LAN. These specializations promote BT's ability to deliver to customers the full promises of convergence by integrating the local and wide area networks, with voice, data and video applications being managed in one seamless IP network.
