Following the press release Dell issued today on the delivery of global managed desktop services to Philips, Getronics CEO, Klaas Wagenaar, comments:
“Getronics is proud to have been chosen as a partner in the consortium that will deliver global managed services to Philips for 75,000 desktops in 60 countries. This five year contract is the largest win with a new client for Getronics since our recent turn around. It validates our decision to focus on our core business of Network and Desktop Outsourcing (NDOS) and to increase the depth of collaboration with our strategic alliances. This contract also shows that we are making good progress in building the volume and range of business undertaken for international accounts. Getronics was chosen for this task due to the close relationship with Dell, its network and desktop outsourcing experience and global presence. We expect the first revenues from this activity in early 2005.”
