SCHIJNDEL, the Netherlands and LEXINGTON, Massachusetts (October 4th, 2004) – Brinvoice, a new billing, collections and customer care application service provider (ASP) and business process outsourcing (BPO) service provider based in the Netherlands, announced today that it has signed an agreement to license Excelergy RevenueManagerTM and BusinessRunnerTM software applications to provide billing, collections, and revenue-assurance management services to its growing client base in Europe. Brinvoice and Excelergy have also agreed to further partnering and to co-market the new service offering.
Launched in May 2004, Brinvoice provides outsourced back-office solutions to companies for whom billing is a mission-critical but non-core process. They are the first independent ASP to offer this service for multiple commodities off a single platform. The Brinvoice/Excelergy offering will allow Brinvoice’s customers to focus on their core activities, reduce operational costs, and offer competitive products and services that they could not previously offer with their existing legacy systems. In the short term, Brinvoice will target energy and telecommunications markets. The company’s longer-term growth strategy includes also the water, water authorities, cable and media/ISP markets.
