Maarssen, 13 September 2004 – 3Com Corporation, a leading provider of networking products and solutions, today announced an agreement with Telecom Italia aimed at providing innovative networking infrastructures to the Italian business market. In line with this agreement, the Italian telephony provider will integrate 3Com’s product portfolio with its offering to enterprises of all sizes.
The 3Com® products that will form part of the Telecom Italia offering include the company’s high performance Wireless, IP Telephony, LAN infrastructure and WAN solutions. 3Com’s solutions are well known for being able to combine reliability with functionality at advantageous price.
As a result of this agreement, 3Com will have the opportunity to work with selected Telecom Italia value-added systems integrators to target the large enterprise market. In addition, 3Com solutions for SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) will be available through more than 600 Telecom Italia resellers throughout Italy.
