Salt Lake City-July 26, 2004 - LANDesk Software, a leader in automated management of desktop, server and mobile devices, today announced that it recorded the company's sixteenth consecutive quarter of operating profitability, achieving a 49 percent year-over-year increase in revenue during the Second Quarter. The company's growth was driven by increased product license sales to new and existing customers globally.
In addition to substantial growth in new license sales, sales to larger enterprise customers in Q2 2004 grew by 152 percent over Q2 2003. The increase in sales to larger customers demonstrates the expanding reach of LANDesk Software's partnering programs, and the company's ability to increase its product scalability and time-to-value proposition.
"We released one of the industry's most integrated and automated systems management solutions last quarter in the form of our LANDesk(r) Management Suite 8, version 8.1," said Joe Wang, president and chief executive officer of LANDesk Software. "The strong organic growth reflected in our second quarter revenue demonstrates that LANDesk Software solutions and world-class customer service are meeting customers' needs and helping them more closely align their IT efforts with financial and business goals and processes."
LANDesk Software continued to see growth across all geographic regions around the world, including the EMEA region, where the company realized more than 126% growth in sales during Q2 2004 over Q2 2003.
