Unit 4 Agresso signed an agreement with the Bravida group in Sweden for the implementation of AGRESSO Business World for all subsidiaries in Scandinavia. The agreement includes Finance functionality, combined with integrated functions for service orders, projects and billing and human resource management. The order value is about 5 million euro.
Bravida delivers technical installation services throughout the Nordic countries. The company has more than 12.500 employees at more than 400 locations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The agreement between Bravida and Unit 4 Agresso is important because it underlines Unit 4 Agresso's commitment to the professional services industry. The implementation will start early 2004 in Denmark. In 2005 AGRESSO Business World will be fully implemented in all countries.
The main reason for Bravida to choose AGRESSO Business World is its ability to deal effectively with the several different types of financial systems within the organisation. Integrating all financial and related processes into one system offers Bravida more efficiency and better control within the organisation.
Another reason for Bravida's choice is the fact that the flexible and scalable architecture of AGRESSO Business World effectively supports all changes within the organisation. Especially in people centric organisations like service organisations, changes are constantly taking place. The use of business systems that are flexible enough to follow these changes, is of major importance.
For Unit 4 Agresso this agreement marks a good start of 2004 and adds to other signals that the market for investments in software products is improving also in the commercial sector.
Agresso Sweden traditionally has a good position in central and local government. The agreement with Bravida shows is it also well positioned to benefit from the readiness of contractor organisations to invest in modern business systems.
