Salt Lake City-February 11, 2004 - LANDesk Software, a leader in integrated desktop, server and mobile device management software, today announced it has recorded the company's 14th consecutive quarter of operating profitability and its most profitable quarter of the year. The 14 consecutive quarters take into account both the company's operation as a business unit of Intel Corporation until September 2002 and its independent operations since the spin-out. Fourth quarter revenue for 2003 increased by 88 percent over the same quarter last year. The company's growth in the final quarter of the year was based upon strong results in nearly every aspect of the business.
The company won more new customers than in any other quarter since becoming an independent business, and ongoing sales to existing customers were also strong. Strategic alliance partnerships also contributed to the strong quarter with new and strengthened relationships with major help desk vendors such as Remedy, Intel, Network Associates, Unisys, Legend and Touchpaper.

The company's aggressive product development was highlighted in the fourth quarter by the introduction of the award-winning LANDesk® Management Suite 8. In addition, the company continued with its expansion of the suite by releasing several additional products including LANDesk Patch Manager 8, LANDesk Server Manager 8 and LANDesk Mobile Manager 8. LANDesk now offers customers one of the industries most complete and comprehensive systems management solutions.
