LogicaCMG announced today that it has been awarded a 10-year contract expected to be worth in excess of £100 million as a member of the BT-led team for the NHS National Programme for IT within the UK’s National Health Service. As National Application Service Provider, the BT team will design, deliver and manage a nationally accessible patient record database and transactional messaging service.
As part of this programme, LogicaCMG will develop the core database application to store and update the national patient records.
